I recently reviewed the history of Orthogate and ISOST for the New Orleans ISOST meeting. It was interesting and a little sad to see how many of the early sites have disappeared. For example the 1996 INABIS 3rd Virtual Conference on Biosciences is no longer posted. I wrote a paper for that entitled the Evolution of the Orthopaedic Internet assuming that it would stay available for ever and could be referred to (for a chuckle!).

Instead it is no longer available, nor is Bone Home, LinkOrthopaedics, the Brisbane Registrars' Notebook etc etc.

My suggestion is that we should make a list of sites that contributed to the early growth and development of Orthogate and re-post them on Orthogate or link to the wayback machine archive
