These workshops have evolved from Instructional Course Lectures presented at the Canadian Orthopaedic Association meetings at St John's Newfoundland in 1999 and in Edmonton 2000. They also have been tried out in the Orthopaedist's Guide to the Internet posted by the Internet Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Trauma (ISOST). I am very grateful to all who participated and who made suggestions to improve these interactive workshops.

The subjects covered are those which orthopaedic surgeons seem to have most concerns about when starting to use computers in general and the Internet in particular for Orthopaedic Information.
