Internet Chat

Live discussion between a number of people corresponding by keyboard is a common current Internet application, but has not found a place in mainstream orthopedic discussion groups. This is because of the limitations of time and scheduling for surgeons. Although interesting, the chat approach tends to the open ended and unfocused, which does not immediately lend itself to the more direct problem solving visible end point nature of many surgical interests.
